It is a “concept wine” which represents the typical taste of the Langhe wines, combined with an international varietal like Merlot. As our legislation does not include a specific denomination for such a blend, it is labelled as “Red Wine”, although it is produced with three DOC wines made from the best grapes of the area: perfect wine for aging.
Notes: (Ce contenu peut être présenté en langue étrangère.) It is a complex wine. The hints of violet and wild berries are typical of Dolcetto, while in the aftertaste the hints of vanilla are typical of the barriques in which Barbera is aged. The Merlot grapes are refined in 1000-liter oak casks, give full body, strength and roundness to the wine.
